Make money doing the work you believe in

There is a difference between feeling an emotion and naming one.

The body does not speak in words. It does not know 'anxiety.' It knows tightness. It knows heat. A flutter in the diaphragm or a cold stone in the gut.

When we rush to label a sensation, we stop listening to it. We trade the raw, intelligent reality of the body for a psychological category.

Today, when you feel a familiar emotional wave, refuse the label. Drop below the neckline. What is the texture of this experience? Does it have a weight? A temperature? A direction?

Listen the way you would to a language you are still learning. The body has something to teach that does not yet have words.
