I just finished another Gray Wolf story, the longest one yet, and I’ll be releasing the first chapter in another week or so. In honor of that milestone, I'm reposting this one, which started the whole thing. I never planned to write sword and sorcery tales (or sword and flintlock and airship and sorcery, in my case), but I started thinking about dueling, and it led me down this path.

On a related note, I have a theory about the Gray Wolf stories, one that I didn’t plan when I started writing. I’ll share it after the third tale runs its course.
