Substack is weird, but then you can get into a positive feedback loop.

Nothing really happened for 4 months even with consistent long form posts.

Then one note got 12 likes. So I thought cool, I’m not shouting into the void, let’s try more regular notes.

Then another randomly got 100+ likes and I got a few new subscribers, reading and engaging. And it has been a slow trickle of one or two a day for a couple weeks now.

I know my 77 subs isn’t many. But I feel like a cool little community is building and I love all the thoughtful comments!
