i’m currently reading bad taste by nathalie olah. it’s a non-fiction book exploring who gets to dictate what is ‘good’ taste, and the systems and infrastructure that holds these standards in place. it explores how taste has also become a reflection of class and cultural capital. super interesting!!

i’m currently reading a breath of life by clarice lispector, and loving it. it’s a very fragmented and philosophical novel about creativity and the life of a writer. it’s also gorgeously written. i’ve probably underlined something on every single page.
