A ton of my friends are at the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference while I’m going through the Epstein files and thinking about Apollo Global. And then … you know what struck me?

We’re kinda swimming in the same pool.

Both conference co-founders work for Apollo folks.

Daryl Morey, in running the 76ers, works for Apollo co-founder Josh Harris.

Jessica Gelman, in running Kraft Analytics Group, works for Robert Kraft who was on the Apollo board for seven years.

The speakers over the years also include plenty of people who overlap with Apollo and Epstein, like Mary Callahan Erdoes, Josh Harris, and, as we reported yesterday, Apollo Global investor Maverick Carter.
