“'The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
Tyrants like Stalin and others were using fear in the same way—to induce compliance."
John F Kennedy
We saw a similar tactic during COVID, where our government, with the media's cooperation, was telling everyone they needed to be scared.
The message was clear: if you don't do what we say, you're going to die.
Sowing uncertainty, instilling fear, constantly stressing, distracting, and inciting people against one another have always been standard methods of all tyrants. We must understand that we cannot escape tyranny through conformity and obedience. We must fight tyrants bravely and resolutely, even if it requires great sacrifice. The price we and our children will pay if we remain inactive is invariably far higher.
John F Kennedy:
"There are far worse things than dying. Far worse things. Americans need to remember that.
One of those things is living like a slave. A whole generation of Americans in 1776 put their lives, properties, reputations, and fortunes on the line.
They said, I'd rather lose everything than deny my children these Bill of Rights.
We must also be willing to make sacrifices to hold on to our Bill of Rights."
