Amazing! I’d read from Ruth Gaskovski about this nifty tool built from danielle (𝓇𝒶𝓌 & 𝒻𝑒𝓇𝒶𝓁) to turn a collection of Substack essays into a print ‘newspaper’, so I played around with good stuff I’ve recently shared in 5 Quick Things letters. Et voila! It easily generated a 20-page printable PDF for me to enjoy. (With examples from Shawn Smucker, Julie Kilcur and more.)

Are the margins unnecessarily big and is the layout a little stiff? Sure. But does it also conjure up feelings of the March sisters’ Pickwick Portfolio and my own days being editor of my junior and high school newspapers? Absolutely. Super fun. And lovely for those of us who want to read more offline.
