I love that it just so happens that I am working and editing on my book’s chapter on transubstantiation, the Passover covenantal concept of zikkaron and the Gospel writers’ use of the word anamnēsin when they write about the Last Supper, why true latria—worship—must include sacrifice, and how all the Church Fathers wrote as though all this were understood by all Christians… today, on Maundy Thursday.
