Of course advance information on US combat operations is classified. Pretending otherwise is an insult to our troops, who all know this.

Thanks, Josh! I appreciate that. I can’t say I always remember to lead with “what” — the habit of using “why” is pretty deeply ingrained. But I’ve started catching myself. When I hear myself say “why,” I try to pause and ask if “what” is really the better choice for discovery.

I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period

I highly recommend the Inspector Gamache series by Louise Penny. I'm on book 6 which takes place in Old Quebec City. I've learned bits of Canadian history and book 6 is full of stone building s& streets. The only remaining ramparts in North America.
It's a lovely series! Next up for me is book 3, but I've heard I should skip it and move straight on to book 4...
