What a delusion for a “James” to believe that Constantinople has anything to do with him. And yet, every now and then, the Western left criticises the Turkish national history of thought. Even very recently, I saw a young German SPD member on twitter lecturing others about how “distorted” Turkish national history supposedly is.

If you ever feel bored, I strongly recommend following the German left. They are, unintentionally, absolutely hilarious. 😃 I mean, the right is the devil we know, but the left is an absolute circus in this country. 🎪

Apart from all this, let’s also talk about the American left - or perhaps, more accurately, identity-confused American teens. Instead of confronting (and deconstructing✨✨) the many modern wars enabled by the West’s distorted historical narratives, shaped by 19th-century Anglo-Saxon pseudo-historians, they seem far more interested in symbolic performances.

Handing out “alms” to African Americans by casting them as Victorian-era English aristocrats as a form of “diversity atonement” is a clear example of this misplaced focus.
