Shouldn’t it be the compounding effect of infrastructure enabled by technology? Internet and mobile phones wouldn’t have reached this kind of a scale without communication infrastructure and hardware. I’d love to see how long it has taken to get from 1G to 5G and then dialup to fiber and how those curves intersect with adoption all three.
