My initial thought was that it wouldn't do any good and would just solidify Republican opposition to anything he brought up for a vote. But I suppose it's possible he could craft something that might pick up the few Republican votes needed to pass. I kind of doubt it though because the humiliation of having a Democratic speaker when they hold the majority is really going to put party discipline on steroids.

It would be interesting, though.
