Feeling a (surprising?) gush of emotion for my family and friends in Hungary right now. When I visited a few years ago, everyone—from the wealthy and the intellectual class to Roma cab drivers—told me that if it were easy and without consequences, they would leave tomorrow.

Now Orban is gone, and while the path forward is hardly clear, there IS a path. Let’s find OUR path, people!
