I'll read later and i 100 percent see people use Israel as a proxy for "Jews". Fuentes and Owens are obvious examples, but Sam usually isn't even talking about anyone specifically- heavily implying or outright saying protesting Israel but not these other conflicts is because of antisemitism when there are obvious reasons they are different....

you have a western powerful country vs a small developing area that's roughly half children

the history of the area, the cultural clash, the religious clash, the economic disparity

and perhaps most importantly, America isn't backing these other aggressors so what would you even be protesting as an american

civil wars and oppressive regimes in poor countries are sadly common and therefore uninteresting relatively speaking to Israel/Palestine. you could say that's a flaw in humans, but it's soooo lazy to just be like "antisemitism" and not wonder if maybe people are interested for the same reason you are interested
