The biggest takeaway from my No/Low Buy Years?

I used to think that the key to personal style was buying more items to experiment with. But I’ve come to realize over the past few years that the key to figuring out your personal style is to:

  1. BUY LESS clothing;

  2. IDENTIFY the items that you truly love to wear, those that you turn to again and again; and,

  3. LET GO of the items that you never wear, while identifying what it is that you don’t like about them.

All the information that you need is already in the clothing that you own.

Examine it, take notes, shop slowly and with intention.
