That is indifference not love.

Consider this example for the purpose of illustrating this (Do not equivocate intensity please)

Imagine you had a 18 year old daughter and she wants to join a dangerous gang. Would you say that she knows what is right and keep it moving ? Or would you rather lovingly tell her every time you get the chance that she should change. Yes you can’t control her, but you can at least do your best to guide her.

Leaving her to her vices is indifference, confronting her lovingly and correcting her is the love Jesus taught.
