Phone has been ringing off the hook. A LOT more units have just been activated for deployment than the public knows about…

I just spoke with the mother of a service member in this unit. They were given one last call home before having to turn in their phones. He told his mom they were going “boots on the ground” tonight.

He also told her his commander said they were doing this to bring about the second coming of Christ.

I can also confirm they did not tell them this was a combat deployment until it was too late—everyone was told they were only going to training.
