Israel is planning to invite the United States to relocate some of its regional bases to Israel and to establish additional bases in the country after the current war ends, according to Channel 12, which cited unnamed security sources.

The Israeli security establishment views this as an opportunity to “reshape the map” of US military deployment in West asia, the report says, noting that US forces are already present in the region and that security dynamics are evolving.

“We have proved our values of late as a central ally of the United States, one that provides not only stability, but also significant operational and intelligence capabilities,” the report quotes an Israeli source as saying.
