The Lebanese Resistance announced the destruction of a newly deployed Iron Dome system at the Jal al-Allam site in the western sector, marking what Al Mayadeen's correspondent described as the first such incident in the history of the confrontation with the Israeli enemy.

The system was struck by a loitering attack drone that managed to bypass all defense, surveillance, and tracking systems before directly hitting the battery. The destroyed system reportedly contained 20 interceptor missiles designated for countering drones and loitering munitions.

In a separate operation carried out in al-Bayyada, the Resistance said it destroyed a fourth-generation Merkava Tank, described as one of the most advanced tanks in terms of protection systems, surveillance capabilities, and lens-detection technology.

The tank was reportedly struck with a new and specialized projectile, after which it was seen burning.
