Thank you for articulating this so beautifully. As a theater director, it’s so clear to me that the first moments of any play are the key to gaining the audience’s trust and inviting them into the world we’re sharing. It’s a much bigger challenge to bring this awareness into the rehearsal/classroom/group work, where the first moments are everything. Looking forward to more insights.
