Did you ever see the BBC TV version of the Rainbow from the early 90s? With Imogen Stubbs as Ursula. Anyway, I love Lawrence — both the poetry (which I’ve written about on here) and the prose, which I fell in love with when I was 12 and read almost all of in a kind of swoon of pleasure at the language, memorably without realising that anyone was ever having any sex at all. There are some fantastic short stories and short novels as well.
