This is something I enjoyed reading about first thing in the morning… there’s more than enough discourse about Thunderbolts out there.

The Kenyan government has officially launched its Shirika Plan, an initiative to turn the country’s two refugee camps – Dadaab and Kakuma – into self-reliant integrated settlements. The plan has been cited as a major step forward Kenya’s 800,000 refugees, the majority of whom are from neighboring Somalia and South Sudan.

After this season of conversions, and with the conclave coming up, I expect more people to either seek conversion or return to the Church. If you have questions, please feel free to ask. I’ll do my best to answer.

And if you contact a local parish and inquire about converting, and receive a tepid response or none at all, get…

For a while after the election investors loved Trump, not wisely but too well. But they’ve gradually fallen out of love. This is looking more and more like a “sudden stop,” when a country that has relied on large inflows of foreign capital loses the confidence of international investors. The inflow of money dries up — and the economic consequences are usually ugly.

Ok. This might be the cutest thing anyone is going to read today.

I grossly underestimated the effect that reading the Chronicles of Narnia to my daughter would have on her vocabulary. (She also listens to the audiobooks every night as she goes to sleep.) Because now I have a four year old saying things like:

"I couldn't possibly get up."

"I suppose you could do that."

"This is awfully squished."

Did you know about Pope Francis’s favorite films? I certainly didn’t, until recently. Alongside CONCLAVE (2024), which has been circulating in the news for obvious reasons, three other titles have come up alluding to his taste and love for cinema. It turns out he was quite the cinephile, with a particular fondness for Fellini’s classic L…

I haven't been commenting much lately because what's been coming to light these days is so incredibly bad, I'm at a loss for words.

I am beyond sad and afraid for friends and people I know who took the shots. Yes, some were horrid little covid tyrants at the time but there was a lot of brainwashing going on.

Somehow, this has to get to a reasonable court and crimminal charges must be made against politicians, pharma, doctors, lawyers etc. who knew this but went ahead. Even agaist those who may not have known exactly how bad this is, the 'experts' should have known better.
