Hello there Substack. It’s been a minute. Again.

I won’t bore you with the details, I know it’s understandable that life circumstances often prevent us from working on projects we’d love to devote more time to.

I hope to get myself back on a regular posting schedule. So expect a chapter 3 update in the next day or two.

As a general update, developmental edits are going extremely well! However between random sickness and life events, and the edits themselves, I have pushed my timelines back significantly further than I had anticipated. I want to give Indie publishers a good name by producing the best version of this story that I am capable of.

At this point even the updated version I have published here has already seen revisions😂

Those of you following the journal will simply have all of the insider information on how this world has expanded and come alive when you finally read it on kindle or paperback someday soon!

With that said, I’ve also made the decision to shift my marketing strategy to the epic fantasy category. I feel a certain level of imposter syndrome even writing that out, but it’s become apparent that I have more to write about in this imaginary world than a love story, even if it’s a major element driving the story. The story itself would exist without the love interests, it just might be presented very differently. That is what ultimately led to this decision.

Anyway, I appreciate the patience and the support that this community is so well known for.

I can’t wait to catch up on many of the stories I’ve been following and bookmarked for such a time as this.
