Update on my self-publishing journey: I’ve spotted a few typos and sentences that needed more context or clarity. This was the risk of pushing out the soft launch to secure the 25 sales and promo. But I’m at peace with it, because none of this is perfect. In fact, the risk of seeming a little messy or rushed is outweighed by the benefits of this book landing in the right hands now. Plus, it got me out of self-doubt and procrastination and pushed the book into the world. It got me startegizing solutions to the problem of conservation that were never on the table before. It’s energised me and humbled me at at the same time.
