I have 115 subscribers - took me 16 months ish (all cool people) and I’ve been wanting to get more subs … but in reflection I’d rather focus on building something slow, deep, and real with the folks who are already here than chase numbers. I love intimate groups and 1-2-1 conversations, and I know from living on an island of about 4,500 people (where I still don’t know every street or neighbour, and even my best friend and I mostly catch up on weekly calls) that true connection takes time, attention, and care. So this space will probably stay small in numbers and high in reality, and that feels exactly right to me - for now.
