The War on Gaza is not just a case of genocide, but what I would call ontocide, i.e. killing off the very will to live and care about things in the world through a concentration of targeted traumas. As the graffiti in Gaza’s European Hospital reads: “We don’t care anymore about anything.” This is the true horror of Gaza.
