I really want to come here someday and not have to ask you to never forget Ukraine.

And I’m sorry if I keep doing that, again and again, almost every day.

The same request. The same hope.

But I’m sure, if you were from Ukraine and in my place, you’d be doing exactly the same.

If I were in your place, I don’t know, maybe I’d be a little tired of it all too.

But my place is in Ukraine, and my duty is to write. To ask.

If I ever stop asking, it’s because I stopped believing anyone still hears.
