Initial thoughts while working my way through WSET3 Bordeaux & Burgundy:

• immediately wondering why I’ve chosen to do this to myself

• the 🇫🇷 really love to complicate things for what appear to be highly subjective reasons

• slowly coming to the realization that there are no patterns or ‘tricks’ for wrapping your head around things and conceding that I’m simply going to have to memorize all of this information at face value

• wondering if my brain can, in fact, retain this much information

• regretting not paying better attention to pronunciation lessons in French class
