Make money doing the work you believe in

🇫🇷 France passed the most artist-friendly AI copyright bill in the world. Now it's stuck in parliamentary gridlock.

The Darcos Law was passed unanimously by the French Senate and it flips the entire AI copyright burden of proof. Currently, artists must prove AI companies used their work. This bill says

assume they did, unless AI firms prove otherwise.

81 cultural organisations from music, film, press and publishing are urgently lobbying the National Assembly to schedule debate before July. But as of May 12, the bill wasn't even added to the agenda.

The French Council of State confirmed that it's fully constitutional AND EU-law compliant. Zero legal obstacles. Just political ones.

Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic lobbyists are watching this closely. If France passes it, every EU country follows.

This is one of the most important copyright battle happening right now and almost nobody outside France is talking about it.

🫵🏼 What do YOU think? Should every country reverse the AI copyright burden of proof?
