There’s a reason the Divine Name “Ar-Rahman” comes first.
Compassion.
If existence were not rooted in mercy, most of us would not survive our own immaturity.
We wake up again and again into a world that does not cancel us at our worst.
It keeps giving us room to grow.
And if compassion is woven into reality itself, maybe the spiritual life isn’t about earning mercy.
Maybe it’s about learning to extend what we’re already standing in.
