I’ve heard some Sufis say our role is to participate in bringing about a new creation on earth. When she talked about discovering the Divine Names within us, it clicked a different way for me. Coming from a Tibetan Buddhist angle, I’m more interested in recognizing those same qualities in the people around me. What I notice in others tends to mirror something in me, and what I wish for them has a way of coming back.
