Another ridiculously late coaching change by a playoff team (for now): Having lost 4 straight games, NYI has fired Patrick Roy and is replacing him with Peter DeBoer. It should be an upgrade long-term, but the timing is wild. Wonder how much he can accomplish under these circumstances.

Coaching Matthew Schaefer is one hell of an opportunity, though.
