Thought Alphabet CEO, Sundar Pichai’s comments on memory on the Cheeky Pint podcast were spot on:

- Thinks that wafer starts is a far bigger constraint than memory, power, and energy are more solvable.

- Thinks that memory is much more constrained in the short-term due to limited capacity expansion, and is less severe than it appears.

- Thinks that the (hardware) constraints will push more innovation (on the software side) to make things much more memory-efficient. Will make it 30x more efficient.
