The app for independent voices

I’ve been obsessed with a single question lately:

Who is actually better at the job? The expert with the skills, or the user with the context?

I used to think it was the expert (me). I built an entire product around that belief.

I hoarded the controls.

But after opening up our internal tools to our clients, I realized I was wrong.

The expert is often just a middleman adding friction.

The ultimate form of delegation isn't hiring more managers. It's building systems simple enough that the person facing the problem can solve it themselves.

In this week's FutureBrief, I break down:

  • The Autonomy Spectrum (Manual vs. Delegated vs. Infinite).

  • Why we moved from managed services to interfaces.

  • How to fire yourself from the decision loop without breaking the business.

And thanks again for reading FutureBrief!
