Why vaccinate adolescents, teenagers, young girls in the name of protecting from sexually transmitted infection when studies demonstrate evidence of a past HPV infection by the age of 3 in over half of infants & toddlers ?

"At 1 month, 40–62% of the infants tested seropositive to any of the 5 HPV-types. Between 1–3 years of age, 53% (58/109) of the children born to HPV-seronegative mothers tested HPV-seropositive. ""Confirmed HPV-seroconversion during the first 3 years of life implicates an early exposure to HPV, i.e., a virus-producing infection capable of eliciting an immunological (antibody) response. However, we do not know as yet why some of the infants experience HPV seroconversion during these early months of their life."
