Representative Thomas Massie announced the Senate's passage of the Iran War Powers Resolution (H.Con.Res. 86) in a narrow 50-48 vote. As the sole House Republican to cosponsor the measure, Massie emphasized that both chambers of Congress have finally voted to end the ongoing conflict with Iran, fulfilling the wishes of the American people.

I am frustrated that lawmakers failed to pass the resolution three months earlier when the war began and initial legislative efforts to stop it were blocked.
