For Valentine’s Day this week, this is a story about a woman who has prepared a lovely meal for herself and her darling husband, and has brought him the best and most wonderfully tasty anniversary gift of all—his comeuppance.

This story is also partially inspired by Lamb to the Slaughter by Roald Dahl and the Shirley Jackson style of story-writing.
