1. The slight push that they've received a book someone paid for. 2. The thought "Whoever sent me this book knows things. Maybe more things than I know. " 3. The thought "I'm a woman who made it to the top! This book is written by a woman doctor who has written books!"
These or a combination thereof could help her decide to at least flip through some pages, then I'm hoping she'll get hooked and read it.
