“They Don’t Look Like Me” is a photo project showing cosplayers with their parents by Niccolò Rastrell

Inspired by John Olson’s 1970s photographs, Niccolò traveled to Italy, Kenya, and Japan to photograph cosplayers alongside their families. These images highlight the contrast between social identity, seen through parents, and personal identity expressed through costume.
