Marc Jacobs and Sofia Coppola first met in the early ‘90s with Coppola eventually becoming one of Jacobs’ most consistent muses

She became closely tied to his work at Louis Vuitton, appearing in ad campaigns, and later collaborated with him on a 2008 handbag designed around her preference for soft leather and muted tones, eventually named the “SC Bag” (her initials)
