Make money doing the work you believe in

This quick, easy and nutrient-dense weeknight dinner has been on HEAVY rotation in our house lately, especially since fresh local asparagus has been in season in Ontario.

#DidYouKnow : Asparagus is a natural source of inulin - a type of soluble fibre and prebiotic that helps feed beneficial gut bacteria. It’s also incredible for hormonal balance/fertility.

Quickly sautéed with a little lemon, garlic and salt, and served alongside turmeric cauliflower rice and wild-caught salmon (I buy mine online from Seafood Naturally), this meal comes together in 30 minutes or less.

As an added bonus, it’s #dairyfree , #glutenfree , #antiinflammatory , and packed full of gut-loving fibre, high-quality protein and fatty acids.

To make the cauliflower rice:

Buy riced cauliflower in the freezer section of your grocery store.

Sauté onion and garlic in a pan for a few minutes, then throw in your riced cauliflower (straight from the freezer). I like to season with a generous dash each of ground turmeric, cumin, salt and pepper and cook, stirring, for 5-8 minutes.

Finish with a squeeze of lemon and chopped fresh herbs, if desired.
