We went whale watching in the Channel Islands and didn’t see any whales— but these dolphins started gliding alongside the boat, twirling just beneath the surface at the bow.

It was a gorgeous day on the water. Add the birds, the lighthouse, and hours on the boat, and it ended up being one of those experiences you remember.
