Now that Pride has become institutionalized, it's undeniable that this is a part of a fundamentally religious worldview.
Strangely, this makes it easier for me to tolerate this religion’s adherents. Its metaphysics are very different from mine, and its values are an inversion of my own, but because I recognize it as a kind of “faith,” I don't see much point in arguing with its adherents.
However, and this is a very big issue, they have to respect boundaries and leave other people's kids alone. Unfortunately, they have a problem respecting boundaries. Several states’ governments, including my own, have made it their mission to impose this belief system on children.
The trans movement is clearly a missionary effort to lock young people into Pride for life by physically altering them. A significantly androgynized child will likely never fit into a non-Pride culture, ensuring lifelong adherence.
This being the case, proselytizing by publicly funded institutions must be banned as unconstitutional. If Pride adherents want to promote and celebrate their beliefs, they should do so on their own dime just like the rest of us.
