“Darwinism told us that we lived in a self-contained Universe where consciousness emerged from non-conscious matter, where everything is contingent and nothing is a priori Good or True or Beautiful besides whatever happens to be (all of which could have been completely different), a Universe where we no longer need God because there was nothing left for him to do, now that we could explain the origin of Man without him. There is no essence, only existence, and we can determine our essential nature for ourselves; hence, transgenderism, which is the logical conclusion of that demonic Enlightenment principle tabula rasa.”
Darwinism never claimed any of this. The physicalist view is merely one interpretation of Darwinism, which unfortunately became the dominant one. There are plenty of deeply religious people- myself included- who fully accept the obvious reality of evolution by natural selection.
Also, the idea that transgenderism follows from the physicalist interpretation of Darwinism (which preaches strict genetic determinism) is ridiculous. The ideologies of transhumanism have a completely different origin in the Gnostic school of thought that the world and flesh are the great enemies of mankind which must be overcome. They may borrow from Darwin, vis a vis eugenics, but the core of transhumanism preaches transcendence of Darwinian selection and rejects its inevitability- i.e. they believe it can be made subject under the thumb of man, man whose consciousness- the term they’ve clumsily replaced “soul” with- transcends biological matter. This is also why transhumanists are so gung-ho on “mind uploading” consciousness into computers, it’s the same poisoned root.
tl;dr you’re just mashing words together. “things I don’t like all bc Darwin!”
