I have been visited by this image repeatedly since I moved to Berlin. This amphitheatre is in my local park - Mauerpark.

I see myself with a sign:

“Silent Sitting

12-1pm”

I am sitting there initially in the centre of it by myself. Then over weeks and months the amphitheatre is full. All of us sitting in silence and noticing our surroundings. Looking out at this lively park. Occasionally looking at each other.

Fully feeling the presence of a group of humans.

We can greet, just not with words. And then we go our separate ways.
