I have always been drawn to perspective, or the delta between what we think we know and what is actually true. We can see this in arctic penguins, pre-state peoples, hyper-optimized workout programs, and our own lives.
Perspective can be the path of Socrates—but unlike Socrates we are not capped at revealing what we do not know: we can also plunge into what we can know, what we can train for, how we can be offensive in contemplating what the enemy or the universe will test us with.
I riff on this theme here and come to a creative conclusion.
