Universal, Concord and ABKCO filed an expanded complaint against Anthropic this week over Claude reproducing copyrighted song lyrics. Early last year, a court signed off on a deal where Anthropic would add guardrails to stop exactly that. The publishers now say, citing Anthropic's own internal records, the lyrics still came out.
