The gavel is officially in my hands! After months of murmurings and plans, last night’s AGM saw Tony retire as the long-serving Chairman of the King George V Malt Whisky Society and me step into the role. The secretary said:

“I just want to point out that I have been a secretary in various capacities through the last 3 chairmen…and Tony is undeniably the most chaotic and disorganized…and arguably the most fun.”

Big shoes to fill!
