This weekend, the President of Columbia stood on an NYC street and, speaking in Spanish, told a huge crowd he was putting forth a UN resolution to put together an "army of humanity" that would first free Palestine.

Rubio is kicking him out of the country.

This is kind of amusing to imagine, but the message from Latin America this year has been "Let the entire Hispanic world into your country or we'll force you."

It reminds me of how Claudia Sheinbaum threatened to "mobilize" if the US taxed remittances to Mexico during the LA Riots. (The US should respond with visa cancellation.)

Latin America doesn't have to be antagonistic to the US. El Salvador's Bukele for example is eager to work with the US and its diaspora home.
