Exciting news! 🥳 I’m now represented by Lissa Woodson at The Macro Group, a small Chicago-based literary agency. Five months in the querying trenches and hundreds of rejections later…I found an agent who believes in me and my book. 📖🙏🏻🫶🏻 I’m ever so grateful for the next stage in the journey: getting a book deal at the Big 5. 🤞🏻🥰 I’ll keep you posted. Thanks to all of those who have cheered me on. 😘 (Michael, my husband, said it would be funny to take a “rubbing the magic lamp” photo. My Grammy joked and said now I can maybe afford some shoes to which I replied, “free feet pics for the internet!” Although would’ve been nice if I’d had my nails done.)
